Little Choc Apothecary launched in 2014 as the first fully vegan and gluten-free creperie in New York. With the philosophy of making healthy, cruelty-free gratifying food more accessible to an ever-growing community of conscious eaters, owner Julia Kravets had an exciting task on her hands.
Attracting foodies from all over New York, the Brooklyn-based site is as quaint as they come. The plant-based cuisine is all made fresh on the premises and is free from chemicals and artificial flavours. Encouraging visitors to embrace clean-eating is all part of the ethos.
Expect a large selection of sweet and savoury crepes, homemade baked items with a daily variety of flavours and multi-flavoured acai bowls. The drink menu includes biodynamic wine and beer, Toby’s Estate coffee and espresso, and an apothecary home to over 100 herbs, house blended teas, juices, and smoothies.
Julia’s passion and expertise ensure all ingredients are sourced from farms and distributors who centre on sustainability and providing local, organic, and fair trade products where possible. Everything you see on the menu is homemade, ranging from coconut and almond milk to all sauces and syrups.
